Australian Mission to ASEAN

ASEAN Australia Business Summit

The Business Summit will help Australian and ASEAN businesses with the know-how and connections needed to strengthen our economic partnership. It will be comprised of three events over two days, including a CEO Forum, SME Conference and a Women in Business Breakfast.

It will provide a valuable forum for the private sector and government to work together to tackle key challenges and drive forward regional prosperity.

The CEO Forum will examine topics vital to deepening economic integration, including agri-business supply chains, infrastructure, digital transformation, future energy, tourism destination development, and aviation. This will culminate in the development of policy recommendations for the Leaders at the Special Summit to bolster the ASEAN-Australian trade and investment relationship.

An SME Conference on 16 March 2018 will foster an essential part of the ASEAN-Australia trade relationship. It will bring together regional specialists, business leaders and successful exporters to share their knowledge and insights with Australian SMEs who are, or are considering, exporting to ASEAN. Delegates who attend the SME Conference will have a unique opportunity to tap into expertise and obtain advice about free trade agreements, government programs and trade facilitation services.

Registration for the SME Conference is now open.  Registration closes on 14 February 2018. However, it will close before this date if seating capacity is reached. If you need help or have a question about the SME Conference, contact us.

The Women in Business Breakfast on 16 March 2018 will be an opportunity to reinforce the important message that women’s economic empowerment underpins future regional prosperity and stability.

This Business Summit is an important lead-in event to the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit, delivered in partnership with the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Australian Industry Group, the Business Council of Australia and the Export Council of Australia.
